Terms and Conditions

Pricing + GST
  • All prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST.

  • Anglican Churches and Anglican Institutions are eligible for GST-free prices. However, these items must be paid for via a 30-day account. Please contact us for further details. 

  • The pricing on this website is kept up-to-date and accurate to the best of our ability - but, it may, on occasion, contain technical inaccuracies, typographical or bibliographical errors.

  • As the Australian Dollar rises and falls, so too will the prices of merchandise, particularly books. Where this information has changed, we will let you know before sending out the order.

Payment
  • We accept VISA and MasterCard. Unfortunately, we do not accept American Express or Diner's Club.

  • Your credit card will only be charged when an item is ready for dispatch. If there are any price changes or an item is unavailable, we will contact you before charging your credit card.

  • Once payment has gone through, you will receive a Tax Receipt via email. 

Ordering
  • St Peter's Bookroom reviews every order before processing and will only authorise items that we believe we can source. Some items may not be available.

  • Not all items displayed on our website are in stock at St Peter's Bookroom. If there is going to be a delay, we will let you know.

  • An order for an extremely specialised title (e.g. an indent title), or a title waiting for a reprint, can take six weeks to four months to source from a supplier around the world.

  • Indent titles are a firm sale and cannot be cancelled or returned. In this instance, we will tell you the estimated delivery time for each title (using the information we have) at the time of purchase.

Delivery + shipping
  • Please make sure that the details (e.g. delivery address and receiver's name) for your order are accurate and complete. This includes a business name if you are shipping to a work address. If these details are not correct, your package may be delayed or returned to St Peter's Bookroom by Australia Post.

  • Shipping charges are based on information supplied by Australia Post. We charge Australia Post rates, plus a $3 packaging fee. For more information about shipping rates, visit the Australia Post website.

  • We make sure that each item is posted with a tracking number. If we do not hear from you, and the tracking number shows that the item has been delivered, we will assume that you have received it. After this time, no refund will be issued for a missing order.

Gift vouchers
  • Gift Vouchers can be purchased in-store or over-the-phone. We will endeavour to post them to you the same business day. There is no postage charge here.

  • Gift Vouchers are redeemed in store or by placing an order to St Peter's Bookroom, either by email or phone.

  • Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months after their purchase date.

Refunds
  • Please make sure that you order the correct title, format, edition and quantity of each item to the best of your knowledge. If you make an error when ordering, you can return the item, but you will be responsible for the postage charge.

  • Goods must be returned in mint condition within 7 days of receipt.

  • St Peter's Bookroom reviews every order before processing and will only authorise items that we believe we can source. Some items may not be available.

  • Not all items displayed on our website are in stock at St Peter's Bookroom. If there is going to be a delay, we will let you know.
